Scootworks belt drive conversion kit for the Honda ACE 750 and the Honda Spirit 750 (chain driven) is available with new polished chrome or black rear pulley and a custom designed front pulley and hub assembly.
Our WideDrive" belt is ~1.20" wide and uses the newest technology in power transmission belting. You will get lower highway RPM's with the 2.15:1 final drive ratio, similar to a 17t front and between a 36/37t rear sprocket, only with an even more increased efficiency from the belt. No more highway 'buzziness', it's just like adding a 6th gear!
No more cleaning of grease and grime from your rear wheel and tire.
No more of that nasty chain lubrication maintenance and routine chain adjustments. Our belt drive is nearly silent, no more noisy chains.
Pulleys never need to be replaced like a conventional chain/ sprocket set-up will.
Scootworks Belt Drive Kit includes custom WideDrive front and rear pulleys, WideDrive belt, belt tension tester, all hardware, and detailed installation instruction manual, making it an easy do-it-yourself modification for most bike owners.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Honda manufactures the ACE and Spirit 750 using two different sizes of shifter linkage rod. The only way to determine which linkage rod you have is to check it with a wrench.
Use a 10mm and 12mm open end wrench to check the fit on the jam nut on the shifter linkage rod. This is the chrome rod that connects the shifter pedal to the transmission shifter rod. You can check it on either end...so the end up near your shifter pedal is the easiest place to do it, and you will not have to remove any covers on your bike.
If the jam nut requires a 10mm wrench then you should purchase Kit #1
If the jam nut requires a 12mm wrench then you should purchase Kit #2
