Scootworks VLX belt drive kit with 2 final drive ratios to choose from.
- Available with a polished chrome or black rear pulley.
- Custom designed front pulley and hub assembly.
- Lower highway RPM's with the final drive ratios, with an even more increased efficiency from the belt.
- Makes it feel like you have a 5th gear! No more highway 'buzziness'.
- No more cleaning of grease and grime from your rear wheel and tire.
- No more of that nasty chain lubrication maintenance and routine chain adjustments.
- Our belt drive is nearly silent, no more noisy chains.
- Pulleys never need to be replaced like a conventional chain/ sprocket set-up will.
Kit includes custom front and rear pulleys, belt, belt tension tester, all hardware, and detailed installation instruction manual, making it an easy do-it-yourself modification for most bike owners. Please note that the rear swing arm must be cut on the left side to allow a gateway for the belt to be installed. The kit includes a high strength gateway clamp that is installed over that opening. The Gateway installation is a simply process, easily done with a standard hacksaw.
